Colonel (ret.) Chris Anderson has an extensive background in the public and private sectors as well as non-profit leadership roles. He has over 15 years of marketing experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry with roles at Rockwell Collins, BAE Systems, and Saab, Inc. Currently, Chris serves as a consultant advising aerospace organizations. He is a certified LEAN Champion and has additional certifications from Defense Acquisitions University and attended the Eisenhower school. He has managed portfolios ranging up to $500M and has experience driving business growth and building partnerships to get the job done.

Chris spent 10 years on active duty with the United States Air Force, highlighted by flying combat missions in the B-52H, managing weapons programs, and serving as an interpreter for the French Air Force. In 2004 he transitioned to the USAF Reserve where he served for 21 years, including as a Squadron Commander, Vice Wing Commander, and a tour in a Key Nuclear Billet with USSTRATCOM. His last Reserve assignment was as IMA to the Commander, HQ Air Force Special Operations Command Operations Center where he retired in 2025. Chris is a joint qualified officer and his decorations include The Legion of Merit, numerous joint medals, and the Combat Action Medal with Valor.

Chris holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Indiana University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and is a graduate of the United States Air Force Weapons School. He serves on the Defense Industry Business Council of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce as well as the National Philanthropy Council of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Calling it one of the best places he has ever lived, Chris chose to settle in Omaha, NE, with his two children.
